Eastleigh/Halifax Town drawn against Brentford in the FA Cup

Eastleigh or Halifax Town have been drawn against Brentford in The Emirates FA Cup 3rd Round Proper.

The Draw for the 3rd Round took place this evening at the BT Tower in London.

The Bees most notable recent achievement was reaching the Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs two seasons ago, where they lost 5-1 on aggregate in the Semi-Final against Middlesbrough. The South London club currently sit 18th in the Championship, 3 points above the relegation zone.

Eastleigh will have to overcome Yorkshire side Halifax Town in the 2nd round replay to reach the 3rd round and face Brentford at Griffin Park. All 3rd Round ties will take place across the weekend of the 6th-9th January 2017.
