New Eastleigh manager Ronnie Moore has confirmed that spitfires captain Joe Partington will miss the next two matches due to injury. Partington picked up his Achilles injury during Eastleigh’s 1-1 draw against Braintree earlier this month and has been on the sidelines since.
On Joe, Ronnie Moore said ‘He’s not going to be fit for at least ten days’. He then continued to say ‘I was so optimistic that he was going to play but, where the ground is so hard at the moment, it’s put him back (On his injury)’
Moore has also said that both Luke Coulson and David Pipe will miss the bank-holiday weekend matches against Solihull Moors (Saturday) and Bromley (Monday. They both picked up injuries filling in Partington’s position at right back.
On Pipe and Coulson, the Eastleigh manager said ‘Coulson’s got no chance and there’s no way Pipe will play. He’s another fortnight away’
